MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, May 9, 2005 <br />7:00 o'clock p.m. <br />14A. APPOINTMENT OF GOLF COURSE SEASONAL EMPLOYEES <br />Murphy moved, Sansevere seconded, to approve the appointment of Lloyd Schneider, Tom Jones, <br />Philip Eidom as golf course seasonal employees at the proposed wage rates outlined in the <br />May 9, 2005 City Administrator's Report and under the applicable provisions of the PERA rules. <br />VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />MAYORICOUNCIL REPORT <br />Murphy reported he attended the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District meeting where a presentation was <br />made to the attendees at the meeting asking them to assist Orono with the Big Island veterans camp deal. <br />Murphy indicated the parties in attendance agreed in principal to do that and that Staff is preparing the <br />necessary documents to accomplish that. <br />McMillan noted a council work session has been scheduled for Thursday, May 12th. McMillan suggested <br />some information be contained in the City's newsletter regarding the City's ordinances regulating <br />retaining walls and boulder walls within the 0 -75' zone. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />None <br />*15.
