MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, March 14, 2005 <br />7:00 o'clock p.m. <br />• <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />*10. CHANGE ORDER NO.2 AND FINAL PAY REQUEST — NAVARRE FIRE RESCUE <br />VEHICLE <br />Sansevere moved, White seconded, to approve Change Order No. 2 for the Navarre Fire Rescue <br />Vehicle, in the amount of $2,245.00, and to approve the final payment to Rescue Vehicles of Iowa, <br />in the amount of $16,633, with a budget adjustment in the Improvement and Equipment Outlay <br />Fund to reflect the expenditure. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />*11. SQUAD CAR PURCHASE <br />Sansevere moved, White seconded, to approve the purchase and authorize payment to: Hinckley <br />Chevrolet, in the amount of $37,126.10 for two unmarked 2005 Chevrolet Impala squad cars; to <br />Superior Ford, in the amount of $22,584.00 for one marked Ford Crown Victoria squad car; to <br />EVS, in an amount not to exceed $10,662 for the set up of new squad cars, tear down of old squad <br />cars, and incidental repairs to equipment being reused. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />Tom Barrett, City Attorney, had nothing to report. <br />12. LICENSES • <br />TEMPORARY ON -SALE LIQUOR LICENSE <br />1. Orono Rotary <br />Minnetonka Center for the Arts <br />2240 North Shore Drive <br />Saturday, April 23, 2005 <br />SPECIAL EVENT <br />2. Peter Erpenbach <br />Fred Kurz Memorial 10 -Mile Run <br />Luce Line Trail starting at the Wayzata Middle School — approximately 4.5 miles out and back <br />Saturday, April 9, 2005 <br />8:30 a.m. — 11:30 a.m. <br />Murphy moved, White seconded, to waive the city fee of $25.00 for the On -Sale Temporary Liquor <br />License granted to the Orono Rotary Club and to approve all licenses.
