'
. ` NOW, THEREFORE, B$ IT R$SOLVED by the City Council of
 Orono, Minnesota:
. . .. .. FINDINGS . , _
1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1454.
2. The property is Zocated in the LR-1B Sing3:e Fami3y
Lakeshore Residential Zoning District. . '
3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application
on September 18, 1989, and recommended approval of the
proposed variance based upon the following findings:
A) The existing house is not square with the lot,
which forces the garage addition to extend c3.oser to
the lot Iine than the existing house.
B) Granting the proposed variance will not cause
excessi:ve visual density in the neighborhood. The
neighboring adjacent residence is Iocated more than
120' from the Zot Iine, hence a suitable structure-to-
structure setback will be maintained.
C) The existing access door adjacent to the garage
. would have to be eliminated if the 22' wide garage was
moved further northward to meet the side setback
requirement.
