Box 66 <br /> ,. �t' 0�- <br /> �-_— Orono, MN 55356 Crystal Bay, MN 55323-0066 <br /> April 14, 2010 <br /> As Spring arrives and everyone is busy raking leaves and cleaning their yards, the City of Orono would <br /> like to remind you that the lake and wetlands are not an allowed dumping site for such material. <br /> City Code Section 78-1608 1(c) states: <br /> Activities including, but not limited to, building (other than a boardwa/k or dock), paving, <br /> mowing, vegetation removal, filling, dumping, yard waste disposal or fertilizer application are <br /> prohibited... <br /> For your information the City offers Leaf and Grass Disposal at the Public Works building, 2700 Kelley <br /> Parkway, from 9 am to 3 pm on the following days: <br /> May 14th and 15tn <br /> May 21 St and 22nd <br /> May 28th and 29tn <br /> The City also offers clean-up for appliances and other unwanted items on April 24th from 8 am to 2 pm <br /> and construction debris ONLY on May 1St from 8 am to 2 pm.
