White distributed some information he has <br />gathered regarding steps the City could be taking stormwater management. <br />Gaffron stated the rain barrels are a good idea but that they will not completely solve the drainage on <br />some of these lots that are fairly flat. <br />Bremer commented the City should encourage the use of pavers since they do absorb water and that <br />perhaps the City should revisit their position on the use of pavers and consider offering some incentives <br />to homeowners if they are utilized. 11 <br />White inquired whether it is against Minnesota Statutes to have your runoff go onto your neighbor's <br />property. ,I <br />Mattick stated property owners are not allowed td redirect the drainage onto someone else's property. <br />Bremer stated some of the drainage problems occur over time. <br />Murphy stated he would like to see the creation of a task force to address the environmental issues the <br />City is faced with now and could be faced with in the future.
