METROPOLITAN AREA SALES TAX FOR TRANSPORTATION AND TRANSIT <br />Murphy stated the City of Orono has not had very much time to review any information relating to this <br />item and noted that a resolution regarding transportation funding was only received today by the City <br />from the League of Minnesota Cities. <br />McMillan stated she is in agreement with Council Member Murphy. <br />White noted the mayors of the local cities have be( <br />conference in support of the half -cent sales tax ina <br />user fee rather than a sales tax. UTILITY BILLING/PAYROLL CLERK PART -TEAE SCHEDULE <br />Bremer moved, Murphy seconded, to approve changing the Utility Billing/Payroll Clerk from a <br />full -time position to a regular part -time position, with a schedule of 32 hours per week. <br />VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />*13. LIQUIDATION OF FORFEITED <br />Bremer moved, Murphy seconded, to approve the sale of a 1998 Ford F -150 pickup through the <br />Minneapolis Auto Auction.
