AMEND ORONO CITY CODE <br />ORDINANCE NO. 48, THIRD SERIES <br />PARADES AND SPECIAL EVENTS — <br />Murphy moved, Rahn seconded, to adopt ORDINANCE NO. 48, Third Series, An Ordinance <br />Amending the Orono.City Code Concerning Parades and Special Events. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />*5. APPROVAL OF CITY ADMINISTRATOR AGREEMENT <br />Murphy moved, Rahn seconded, to approve the contract agreement as negotiated with William <br />Wells, city administrator candidate. VOTE: ! IAyes 4, Nays 0. <br />*6. REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 1, 2008 OVERLAY PROJECT <br />Murphy moved, Rahn seconded, to approve Request for Payment No. I for the 2008 Overlay <br />Project to Astech Surface Technologies in the amount of $358,191.68. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />7. REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 1, <br />Murphy moved, Rahn seconded, to remove <br />Projectto Pearson Brothers, Inc., in the am <br />Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />SEAL COAT PROJECT <br />lest for Payment No.1 for the 2008 Seal Coat <br />of $94,076.60, from tonight's agenda. VOTE: <br />*8. CASCO POINT PROJECT — ACCEIT SOILS INVESTIGATION QUOTE <br />Murphy moved, Rahn seconded, to accept the quote of Braun Intertec in the amount of $8,800.00 <br />for soils investigation, to be charged to the Pavement Management Program account (435- 48956), <br />and authorize the work to be commenced. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />Mattick had nothing to report. <br />*9. LICENSES & PERMITS <br />CLUB FIREARM USE PERMIT <br />1.
