Tuesday,January 16,2007 <br /> - 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> (#07-3254 MetroBuilding,Continued) ' <br /> Leintz stated based on an interior view,the engineer felt the foundation was in good condition. <br /> Rahn stated typically the City requires a letter from the engineer regarding the foundation prior to work � <br /> commencing. � , <br /> Zullo inquired if 50 or 60 percent of the foundation has to be redone whether the applicant would need to <br /> come back before the Planning Commission or whether they could still proceed forward. <br /> Gaffron stated there have been a few cases in the past where a bigger portion of the foundation has had to <br /> be replaced and that the City now requires a letter from the engineer certifying that the foundation is in <br /> good condition prior to construction commencing. <br /> Zullo inquired whether the application should be tabled to verify the foundation. <br /> Curtis stated verification of the foundation was one of her recommendations. <br /> Rahn inquired whether the elevation of the basement would also be lowered. <br /> Leintz stated the elevation of the basement would be raised to eight feet. <br /> Kroeger recommended the survey be redone showing what exists. <br /> Leintz displayed the blueprints showing the deck as it existed. <br /> � Rahn noted an e-mail was received from John Horoshak dated January 16, stating that he would have a <br /> problem with the variance if it hinders his lake view. • <br /> Rahn opened the public hearing at 8:23 p.m. <br /> There were no public comments regarding this application. , <br /> Rahn closed the public hearing at 8:23 p.m. <br /> Kempf moved,Winer seconded,to table Application#07-3254,MetroBuilding Company on behalf <br /> of Guardia Development Group,940 North Arm Drive. VOTE: Ayes 7,Nays 0. <br /> *7. #07-3256 MATT�W AND KATHY DOLLIFF,2680 PIiEASANT ROAD,VARIANCE <br /> Rahn moved,Kempf seconded,to recommend approval of Application#07-3256,Matthew and <br /> Kathy Dolliff,2680 Pheasant Road,granting of a revision to the hardcover variance approved in <br /> #02-2754,subject to the removal of the portion of the driveway lying closer to the side lot line than <br /> the side wall of the garage extended and also subject to the proposed hardcover removals. <br /> VOTE: Ayes 7,Nays 0. � <br /> PAGE 16 � <br />
