APPROVAL OF GILLESPIE CENTER AGREEMENT <br />White noted that the Gillespie Center does not do an annual audit but that they would be providing the <br />City with a summary of activities, services, events, and a full financial report, which will be adequate. <br />Donna Smith, Gillespie Center, thanked the Orono City Council for the City's financial contribution. <br />Bremer moved, Murphy seconded, to approve the Agreement for Services between the Gillespie <br />Center and the City of Orono with Item 17 amended to state that Gillespie will provide the City <br />Council with an annual report including a summary of activities, services and events provided and <br />a full financial accounting report of income and expenses along with a copy of its 990 form. <br />VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />*4. CENTERPOINT ENERGY GAS FRANCHISE — ORDINANCE NO. 61, THIRD SERIES <br />McMillan moved, Bremer seconded, to adopt ORDINANCE NO. 61, THIRD SERIES Gas <br />Franchise Ordinance — Centerpoint Energy. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. 0 <br />5. APPOINTMENT OF PLANNING COMMISSION VICE CHAIR <br />Murphy moved, McMillan seconded, to appoint Kim Kang to the position of Planning Commission <br />Vice - Chair. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />*6. AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE 2009 SQUAD CAR <br />McMillan moved, Bremer seconded, to approve the ordering and purchase of a 2009 Dodge <br />Charger from Nelson Auto Center in Fergus Falls in the amount of $21,933.03, plus tax and license. <br />(Replacement for Squad #211) VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />*7. CLOSE FUND 312 — RESOLUTION NO. 5839 <br />McMillan moved, Bremer seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 5839, a Resolution to Close the <br />1998 HRA Refunding Bond Fund to the 2005 HRA Public Project Revenue Bond Fund. VOTE: <br />Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />*8. ACCEPT AND AWARD QUOTES FOR STONEBAY - BOULDER DRIVE WETLAND <br />CORRECTIONS PROJECTS <br />McMillan moved, Bremer seconded, to award the quotation in the amount of $42,037.50 from <br />Sunram Construction, Inc., Corcoran, Minnesota, for the Stonebay - Boulder Drive Wetland <br />Corrections Project, to be funded from the Stonebay LOC proceeds, and authorize the work to be • <br />commenced.
