This design is based on a wall layout plan <br /> provided by you dated May 5, 2015. <br /> From my observations and the information provided by you, the 2-tiered granite rectangular boulder <br /> retaining walls are located along near the corner of the house and each have a maximum exposed height <br /> of 5 feet. A minimum embedment depth of 6" is to be maintained for the walls. The grades at the top and <br /> bottom of the walls are generally level. No other surcharge or groundwater loads have been designed for <br /> the walls. <br /> The attached typical section should be referenced for the F �' <br /> appropriate wall section height.
