I have attached some pictures for your
information and following are my comments for your consideration.
1. The riprap at the beginning of the downstream channel located on the northwest side of the property stili
requires cleaning and restoration. It is my opinion that sediment deposited in this riprap is largely due to
erosion from the property at 4055 Elm Street, and the restoration work should be the responsibility of that
property owner.
2. Additional erosion/sedimentation is occurring at the driveway entrance to 4055 Elm Street. Additional erosion
control measures (biologs)should be installed to prevent migration of sediment downstream, and the upslopes
may need to be re-seeded to ensure vegetation is established.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact me to discuss. Also, Scott may be able to provide additional
comments regarding potential for the City to perform the work against the escrow.
Thanks,
Robert E.
