• <br />a VILLAGE OF ORONO <br />• <br />Regular r eeting of the Village Council, 7-30 P .D4. <br />• October 28, 1968 <br />• <br />• The Village Council met on the above date <br />with the following members present: Mayor <br />Ross, Councilmen Butterfield, Franzel, <br />Searles, and Stubbs. <br />• <br />1 Searles moved, Franzel seconded, that the MINUTES <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 14, <br />• 1968, be approved. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />• <br />The following, appeared: F. Boyle concerning <br />Briar Street. C. Kramer concerning division <br />• and variance. R. Jay concerning building <br />permit and variance. P. Van Dusen concerning <br />• marina license. <br />• <br />The Mayor announced that this was the time <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />and the place for a Public Hearing concerning <br />68LS -1 & 68LW -1 <br />• <br />the proposed construction of 1968LS -1 and <br />1968LW -1, an improvement consisting of sanitary <br />• <br />sewer laterals (1968LS -1) and water laterals <br />(1968LW -1). The Village Clerk presented the <br />Notice of Public Hearing and the Affidavit of <br />• <br />Publication and the Certificate of Mailing to <br />affected property owners. The following <br />• <br />appeared: IV. Kelley, A. Thomson, D. Peasley, <br />T. Halloran, L. Gleason, W. Wear, I. Gunsolus, <br />and W. Dickey. After all members of the public <br />present were afforded an opportunity to be heard, <br />• <br />the hearing was closed. <br />• <br />• <br />Stubbs, moved, Searles seconded; that the <br />MARINA LICENSE <br />request of the Wayzata Yacht Club for a club <br />Big Island <br />• <br />marina on Big Island, subject to acceptable <br />sanitary facilities, be approved. Motion, <br />• <br />Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />• <br />Franzel moved, Searles seconded, that the BUILDING PERVIT & <br />request of the Pure Oil Company for a building VARIANCE <br />• nermit and variance at 3360 Shoreline Drive, 3360 Shoreline Drive <br />be approved. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
