• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />i <br />• <br />• <br />VILLAGE OF ORONO <br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council, <br />September 23, 1968 <br />The Village Council met on the above date <br />with the following members present: Mayor <br />Ross; Councilmen Butterfield, Franzel, <br />Searles, and Stubbs. <br />Searles moved, Stubbs seconded, that the <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting of <br />September 9, 1968, be approved. Motion, <br />Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />The Mayor announced that this was the time <br />and the place for a Public Hearing on the <br />matter of assessments proposed to be made <br />against property owners benefited by <br />Sanitary Sewer and Water Improvement <br />(1967LS -1 and 1967L11-1). The Village <br />Clerk presented the Affidavit of Publication <br />and the Certificate of "ailing to affected <br />property owners of the Public Hearing <br />notice. The following appeared concerning <br />the matter: A. Thies, F. Buschbom of <br />Van Dale, Inc., L. Wilhelm, C. Holter and <br />B. Kenney, representing Washington Scientific <br />Industries. After all persons were heard, <br />the Public Hearing was closed. <br />• The following appeared: F. Curtis concerning <br />street maintenance. L. Larson concerning <br />water petition. P. Van Dusen concerning <br />i mooring license. M. Alvord and P. Fahlin <br />concerning non - conforming use permits. <br />• <br />Franzel moved, Butterfield seconded, that <br />• the request of Stephen Saunders for a <br />variance in lot size and front setback <br />at 1535 Long Lake Boulevard, be referred <br />to the Planning Commission for review and <br />recommendation. Motion, Ayes (S) - Nays (0). <br />• <br />Stubbs moved, Searles seconded, that the <br />request of Ken Cornelius for a variance in <br />* lot size and frontage on Lots 23 -24, <br />Pleasant View, Big Island, be approved. <br />Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />7:30 P.M. <br />MINUTES <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Assessments <br />67LS -1 & 67LW -1 <br />VARIANCE <br />1535 Long Lake <br />Boulevard <br />VARIANCE <br />Big Island <br />
