Because a revised NFIP map has been prepared for your community, it
is necessary for[he Federal Emergency Management Agency(FEMA)to take administrative action to prevent valid
LOlIR-Fs and LOMAs from being superseded. Accordingly, the purpose of this letter is to revalidate the
determinations for properties and/or strucnues in your community as described in the LOMR-Fs and LOMAs
previously issued by FEMA on the dates listed below. As of the above-referenced effective date, these LOMR-Ps
and LOMAs will revise the effective NFIP map for the referenced community, dated September 2, 2004, and vill
remain in effect until superseded by a revision to the NFIP map panel onvhich the property is located. The FEN1A
case numbers, when available, project iden[ifiers, and Flood Insurance Rate Map(FIRM) nimibers of the revalidated
LOMR-Fs and LOMAs are listed in the attachment to this letter.
Because these revalidated LOMR-Fs and LOMAs will not be printed or distributed to primary map users, such as
local itsurance agents and mortgage lenders, your communityvill serve as a repository for these new data. We
encourae you to disseminate the information reflected by this ]etter throughout your community so that interested
persons, such as property ovners, local insurance agents, and mortgage lenders, may benefit from the information.
If you feel a LOlVIC has been omitted from the list that should have been included, ve encourage you to submit the
LOMC for re-deternunation. When requesting a re-determination, we ask that a cover letter be sent along with a
copy of the original deternunation letter to: FEMA, LOMA Depot,P.O.Bos 2210,Merrifield,Virinia 22116.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact the FEMA Regional Office in Chicago, Illinois, at
(312)403-5545. Copies of previously issued LOMR-Fs and LOMAs, if needed, can be obtained by contacting our
Mapping Coordination Connactor, Devberry, in Fairfax, Virginia, either by telephone at(703) 876-0148,or by
facsimile at(703) 876-0073.
Sincerely,
DouBellomo, P.E.,Acting Chief
Hazard Identification Secrion,Mitigation Division,
Emergency Preparedness and Response Directorate
Attachment
