cr. <br /> '°�ti+ r,r <br /> ; � �� <br /> . o 0 <br /> � �b� - CITY o� ORONO <br /> � � � <br /> �� �'�'� RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��kESH�g'� NO. 319 7 <br /> A RESOLIITION GRANTING APPROVAL OF <br /> A LOT LINE �LARRANGEMENT OF A PI,AT <br /> INVOLVING PROPERTIES LOCATED AT <br /> 340 AND 350 NORTH ARM T•A� <br /> FILE NO. 1771 <br /> WHEREAS, James and Sarah Markoe on September 22, 1992 <br /> filed a formal subdivision application with the City for approval <br /> of a residential subdivision of a plat of a lot line <br /> rearrangement of property legally described as Lots 1 and 2, <br /> Block l, North Arm Estates, 2nd Addition (hereinafter "the <br /> property"); and <br /> WHSREAS, after due published and mailed notice in <br /> accordance with Minnesota Statues 462.358 et. seq. and the City <br /> of Orono Zoning and Platting Codes, the Orono Planning Commission <br /> held a public hearing on October 19, 1992 at which time all <br /> persons desirinq to be heard concerning this application were <br /> • given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, at their regular meeting held on November 9, <br /> 1992 the Orono City Council considered the subdivision <br /> application of Sarah and James Markoe, noting the following <br /> findings of fact: <br /> l. The property is located within the unsewered areas of <br /> the LR-lA Single Family Lakeshore Residential Zoning <br /> District requiring a minimum of 2 acres of contiguous <br /> dry buildable land within each newly created lot. . <br /> 2. The property contains a total of approximately 9+ <br /> acres. <br /> • 3. The proposed plat of a lot line rearrangement will <br /> still provide each lot with 3+ acres of contiguous <br /> lands. <br /> 4. The lot line rearrangment as proposed wi 11 bring the <br /> lakeshore properties into conformance with the required <br /> width at 200' measured in a straight line adjacent to � <br /> the navigable channel and at the 75 ' setback line. <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br /> • <br />
