-�y�_� ."-.�.:�(`�.� . <br /> l <br /> � O� <br /> � ' O O <br /> �� �b� - CITY of ORONO <br /> � � � <br /> ti <br /> �� �'�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> L�kESH�g'� NO. 319 4 <br /> A RBSOLIITION GRANTING <br /> VARIANCES TO <br /> MIINICIPAI, ZONING COD}3 <br /> SECTION 10.22, SIIBDIVISION 1 (A) AND <br /> SECTION 10.22, SIIBDIVISION 2 <br /> FILE #1737 <br /> WHEREAS, Richard Hollander (hereinafter "the applicant") is <br /> the owner of the property located at 680 North Arm Drive within the <br /> City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> See Exhibit A attached Hennepin County, Minnesota (hereinafter <br /> "the property"); and <br /> WHER$AS, the applicant has applied to the City for <br /> variances to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 1 (A) <br /> • and Subdivision 2 to al low a grade level deck and gazebo to remain in <br /> the lakeshore yard located 14' from the shoreline where a 75' setback <br /> is required resulting in additional hardcover at 735 s.f. or 4.9� <br /> where 3,550 s.f. or 23.6$ exists and where none is allowed. <br /> NOW, THER$FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS . <br /> 1. . This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1737. � <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B Lakeshore Residential <br /> zoning district requiring 1 acre in area. The property <br /> consists of 19,100 s.f. or .43 acres. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on <br /> May 18, 19 9 2 and October 19, 19 9 2 and recommended approva 1 <br /> of the proposed variances as amended based upon the <br /> following findings: <br /> a) The unusal shape of the lot. � <br /> b) The majority of the area of the 19,100 s.f. lot is <br /> located within the 0-75' setback at 15,000 s.f. <br /> • Page 1 of 7 <br />
