We are <br /> aware that you had intended to reptace it in the past. Due to its deteriorated condition and the <br /> fact that it is beyond repair the city is considering Hazardous Building action to require its <br /> removal. <br /> Your options would be to obtain a demolition permit (permit application attached) and remove <br /> the structure from the property on your own. Another option wouid be to enter into an <br /> agreement with the city to remove the structure with the costs be charged against the real <br /> estate taxes as a special assessment. The assessment may be paid in not to exceed five equal <br /> annual installments with interest thereon at eight percent per annum. <br /> If you chose to take no action the city will commence with hazardous building action. The city <br /> will obtain a court order for demolition and remove the structure. The cost will be assessed <br /> against the property as a special assessment. <br /> Please respond before May 2, 2011 to discuss you intentions.
