The applicant has executed an agreement calling for a <br /> staged installation of a comprehensive fire suppression <br /> system throughout the Orono Elementary and Middle Schools by <br /> the year 1993. <br /> 5. The City Council has considered this application <br /> including the findings and recommendations of the Planning <br /> Commission, reports by staff and comments of the applicant <br /> and the affect of the proposed use on the health, safety, <br /> and we 1 f are of the community. <br /> 6. The City Counci 1 f inds that granting a conditiona 1 use <br /> • permit to allow the proposed addition that would connect the <br /> Orono Middle School and Orono Elementary School wil 1 not be <br /> be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of <br /> the public, would not adversely affect light, air nor pose a <br /> fire hazard or other danger to neighboring properties, nor <br /> will its use depreciate surrounding property values and that <br /> the prop�sed level of use- of the property will be in keeping <br /> with the intent and objectives of the Zoning Code and <br /> Comprehensive Plan of the City. <br /> CONCLDSIONS, ORDffit AND CONDITIONS <br /> Based upon one or more of the above findings, the Orono <br /> City Council hereby grants a conditional use permit per Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.28 , Subdivision 3 (A) to permit an <br /> addition that would connect the Orono Elementary and Orono Middle <br /> Schools and per Section 10.41, Subdivision 2 approves the <br /> issuance of a building permit for the addition, subject to the � <br /> following conditions: <br /> 1. Fire lanes shall be provided per the Building and Fire <br /> Inspector's approval. Applicant shall post adequate signage � <br /> locating these fire lanes. � <br /> 2.
