<br /> REMOVING THE RBSTRICTIONS OF THE ODD/EVEN REGIILATIONS ;
<br /> EFFECTIV$ SEPTSA'�ER 15, 1989,
<br /> BIIT RE-IMPOSING THEM
<br /> APRIL 15, 1990
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono adopted Ordinance 53, Second
<br /> Series, to regulate the outdoor use of water , regardless of �
<br /> source; and ;
<br /> WHER$AS , on July 25, 1988 , the Council adopted �
<br /> Resolution �2479, implementing an odd/even water regulation in
<br /> the community regardless of source of water; and �
<br /> WHEREAS, the City did such because of significant dry �
<br /> condi tions; anc7 -
<br /> . WH$REAS, subsequent to those restrictions being put into �
<br /> � effect, substantial rains were seen in the area, anc7 with the end :,
<br /> of summer , the demand for water is markedly decreased; and
<br /> r
<br /> WHEREAS, the City still maintains a concern for its on- ;-
<br /> going water resources. C
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RSSOLVED that the City of Orono -
<br /> repeals its odd/even outdoor water usage regulations, effective �
<br /> September 15, 1989; and
<br /> FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the City re-impose these
<br /> regulations on April 15, 1990. . :
<br /> Adopted by the Orono City Council on this 14th day of ��'
