This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1433 <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR-lA Single Family <br /> Lakeshore Residential Zoning �District requiring 5 acres of <br /> area, 2 acres of which must be contiguous. The property <br /> consists of a total of 20.56 acres. <br /> . 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application <br /> on August 21, 1989 and recommended approval of the proposed <br /> variance and conditional use permit, based on the following <br /> findings: <br /> A) Per Orono Resolution #2610, Condition 15, the <br /> applicant was directed to file a conditional use permit <br /> for the annual removal of peat used in the commercial <br /> growing of plants on the property. <br /> � B) In a report dated August 17, 1989 by Glenn Cook, he <br /> noted that "the continued excavation of the wetland . . <br /> . on a limited scale (300 cubic yards) will have a <br /> minimal effect on the marsh" . <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br /> ,� <br />
