Access to data bp indiridual. Upon requesc to a r_soasible a��.oriry,an individual shall be informed whether he is the subject oF scored data on individu:ls,and wherher ic is classified as public,privae or confid�nrial. Upon his furcher requesc, aa individual who is the subjeu of scored private or public da�a on individuals shall be shown the data wi�ouc any c:.3rge to him and;if he dzsires, shall be informed of the con[enc ar.d meaning of chac data. After an individual has been shown the priva��ac�and i�:onned of i�s meaning,the dara need not be disclosed to him for six mon;hs therea[ter unless a dispute or acdon pursuant to this secdon is c:nding o:addiaoaal data on the individual has been collecced or creactd. The responsible au�horiry shall provide copies of the private or public da�L:on req�:s:by the individual subject of�h�data. The responsible authoriry may requir� che requesdng person co pay the acmal costs of makine,cer;:ing, and compiling che copies. The responsible au[horiry shall comply immediately, if possib!=,wich an}' requesc mada pursuant to this subdivision,or wirhin five days of the dac_of�he requesc,etcluding Sanirdays,Sundays and legal holidays,ii is.mediace compliance is not possible. If he cannot comply wieh che reques� wichin chac dme,he shall so inform�he individual,and may have an addice:31 five da;s wi�hin which to comply with the request,excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays. Subd.4. Procedure when data is not accurate or complete. ?.n individual may contest the accuracy or completeness of public or pri�•ate daca conceming hunself.
