ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MONDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2002 <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />*5. #2587 Kris Rudd on behalf of Richard Rudd, 4575 Wayzata Boulevard — <br />Extension of Final Plat Date — Resolution No. 4905 <br />Murphy moved, and Sansevere seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 4905 amending <br />Resolution No. 4479, File No. 2587, allowing the final plat for Richard Rudd's <br />subdivision to be submitted by December 31, 2004. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />*6. #02 -2847 James Nystrom, 1725 Concordia Street — Conditional Use Permit — <br />Resolution No. 4906 <br />Murphy moved, and Sansevere seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 4906 granting a <br />conditional use permit per Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.75, Subdivision 1 to <br />permit construction of a cupola on the roof of a residence to be 34.5' tall, where a 30' <br />height is the maximum for the LR -1C zoning district. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />• *7. #02 -2848 Peter and Amy Goshgarian,100 Orono Orchard Road South - <br />Variance— Resolution No. 4907 <br />• <br />Murphy moved, and Sansevere seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 4907 granting a <br />variance to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.28, Subdivision 5(B) to allow <br />conversion of attic space to living space by raising the roof where the existing <br />residence is 28' from the side lot line where 30' is required in the RR -1B zoning <br />district. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />*8. #02 -2853 Aulik Design, 955 Tonkawa Road — Variance /Conditional Use <br />Permit — Resolution No. 4908 <br />Murphy moved, and Sansevere seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 4908 granting a <br />variance to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 1(B) and Section 10.56, <br />Subdivision 16(C)(6) to permit an encroachment of 42' to construct a new residence <br />on the property and 62' to construct a lakeside pool into the average lakeshore <br />setback; and a conditional use permit to allow land alteration of greater than 500 <br />cubic yards to be brought onto the site per Section 10.03, Subdivision 19. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />5 <br />
