Box 66
Orono, MN 55356 Crystal Bay, MN 55323-0066
May 24, 1994
Mr. Lou Oberhauser
2425 Dunwoody Avenue
Wayzata, Minnesota 55391
Dear Mr. Oberhauser:
We have been discussing the subdivision of your three rental properties for this past year. In
fact, it was my understanding that we had come to a resolve of a replat of a lot line
reanangement creating two new building sites. I had been advised by both you and your planner
that you would be filing a formal subdivision application for the February meeting of the
Planning Commission and then later for the March meeting. We are now preparing for the June
meeting of the Planning Commission and the City has yet to receive your formal application.
The City continues to get numerous complaints concerning the condition of your rental properties
not only visible to all of your immediate neighbors but to the many travelers along County Road
15 who view this site upon entering our City. I have also advised you of the concerns expressed
by the City Council, of the need to not only maintain the grounds but to come to some resolve
concerning the boarded up structures on the properties.
At a recent meeting of the Council, staff was directed to once again ask if you intend to file a
subdivision application within the next thirty days (June 24, 1994) and, if not, that the City
would have to consider other options or means in order to bring property into reasonable
conformance. The City feels that they have provided you adequate time to come to some
determination as to how you wish to proceed with the redevelopment of the property. The City
has provided you with guidelines at various sketch plan reviews before the Planning
Commission.
Please contact my office if you wish to discuss this matter any further or if you have any
questions pertaining to the filing of a formal subdivision application.
Sincerely,
 C ./I-..c.
Jea e A.
