<br /> We have reviewed the revised (2-10-04) grading, draina;e and erosion control plans for the Orono
<br /> Professional Center II building. The site is located along the south side of Kelley Parkway,north of
<br /> TH 12 and east of Old Crystal Bay Road. We have the following comments witH regards to
<br /> engineering matters:
<br /> � The storm sewer calculations are acceptable.
<br /> • We recommend that a catch basin be added east of CB-4 to help facilitate the collection of
<br /> drainage east of the parking island.
<br /> • The silt fence along the southerly boundary should be extended easterly and nc,rtherly to
<br /> protect against sediments getting into the MnDOT ditch.
<br /> � We have estimated the cost of site improvements to be $197,425, a copy of the estimate is
<br /> attached. The applicant should provide the city with a financial guarantee for 150% of this
<br /> amount or$296,13 8 prior to any work on site.The financial guarantee should be in the form
<br /> of cash or a letter of credit.
