The proj ect has been reviewed by the City Engineer and his coinments <br /> are attached as Exhibit F. His coirunents relate generally to drainage and stormwater runoff <br /> concerns associated with the parking lot expansion. While the site is not in the Shoreland <br /> District and not subject to hardcover regulations,applicant will be required to provide drainage <br /> calculations and additional grading aud starmwater management detail to satisfy the City's <br /> drainage concerns as identified by the City Engineer. Planning Commission approval should be <br /> subtect to approval of final plans bv the City En 'igi ieer prior to final Council action. <br /> Issues for Consideration <br /> 1. Should the 5,000 s.f. addition to the 1,875 s.f. existing detached garage be required to <br /> conform to the exterior finish of the principal building? <br /> 2. Are there any other specific concerns with the proposed garage and parking lot addition? <br /> Staff Recommendation <br /> Staff recommends approval subject to Plaiuzing Conunission's deterniination as to whether the <br /> proposed 5,000 s.f. addition should be fiiushed to match tlie principal building, and subject to <br /> approval of final grading and drainage plans by the City Engineer prior to fmal Council action. <br />
