ORONO PLANI�ING COIVIMISSION MEETING <br /> Monclay,Apri118, 2005 <br /> 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> (#OS-3080 Interspace West, Continued) <br /> Gundlach presented an overhead of the new proposed building. <br /> Rahn inquired whether the applicant is aware of Staff's recommendations. <br /> ___ _ __ Pl�ili�LCarlson stated they_have reviewed_Staff's recoi�ien_dations,_Carlson indicated the,_architectural_ <br /> _ __ __. ....__ _ <br /> style has been changed in accordance with Council's direction and that they llave also s�ent tiine <br /> discussing the project with the residents of Sugarwoods. <br /> Ralin inquired whether any color elevations have been generated at this point. <br /> Gundlach stated they have been subniitted. <br /> Rahn inquired whether an elevation front to back has also been submitted. <br /> Carlson stated that was submitted to Council. <br /> Winkey inquired whether the back portion of the site is the high point of the roofline. <br /> Carlson stated the highest�ortion of the roof is approximately ten feet above the ground level at the back <br /> portion of the lot. <br /> Leslie inquired how that elevation compares with the previous proposal. <br /> Gundlach stated the elevations are virtually unchanged. <br /> Winkey inquired what type of landscaping is being proposed for the back portion of the site. <br /> Carlson indicated there is some additional berniing being proposed for the back and additional trees to <br /> lielp address the neighbors' concei7is. <br /> Gundlach stated the proposed h�ees along the top tier range froin six feet to ten feet,which should provide <br /> some inunediate screening. <br /> Rahn noted the majority of his concerns have already Ueen addressed. <br /> Gundlach pointed out the revised elevations requested in the Planner's Report relate to the exterior <br /> materials being proposed for the Uuildings. <br /> Rahn concurred that the specific materials being utilized on these buildings should be delirieated for the <br /> Council on all elevation views of the buildings. <br /> Ralm opened the meeting for public conunents. <br /> PAGE 5 <br />
