RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCiL ; <br /> ' � i NO. 2611 ; <br /> �.� � �T' i <br /> A RESOLIITION APPROVING A SIIBDIVISIOA ;' <br /> OF A LOT LINE FLARRANGffi�NT ' <br /> VIA REGISTERED LAND SIIRVEY FOR THE � <br /> FRESHWATSR FODNDATION ' <br /> FILE NO. 1374 i <br /> i <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized <br /> and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> WH$REAS, the City Counci 1 of the City of Orono has adopted sub- <br /> division regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development of land <br /> within the City; and . <br /> WH$REAS, the City Council has considered the application for a <br /> Registered Land Survey subdivision of a lot line rearrangement by the <br /> Freshwater foundation (hereinafter "the subdivider") at 2500 Shadywood <br /> Road; and � <br /> WH$REAS, the proposed subdivision has been found to meet all <br /> •standards of the B-4 and LR-1B zoning districts; and <br /> WHEREAS, Tract B of the proposed Registered Land Survey cvntains <br /> the existing Freshwater Biological Institute buildings and maintains the <br /> necessary acreage and lot line setbacks to accommodate those buildings. <br /> Tract A of the proposed Registered Land Survey consists mostly of <br /> designated wetland areas and is� not intended as a buildable site, but is <br /> intended for legal combination with an adjacent wetland parcel to the <br /> north; and . • � � <br /> WHERLAS, the subdivider has completed all requirements of the <br /> subdivision regulations of the City including: <br /> 1. Dedication on the Registered Land Survey of right-of-way for <br /> County Road 19. <br /> 2. Payment to the City for the legal review and filing of the plat <br /> documents in the amount of $75.00. <br /> NOW, THERSFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City <br /> of Orono hereby approves the Registered Land Survey for the Freshwater <br /> Foundation at 2500 Shadywood Road, subject to the following condition: <br /> 1. Tract A of the Registered Land Survey shall be. legally combined <br /> fo"r tax purposes with the adjacent E.W. ,Blanch parcel (P.I.D. #17-117- <br /> • 23 44 0087 ) . . <br /> � Page 1 of 2 <br />
