DIVISION 17. <br /> B-6 HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT* <br /> * Cross References: Businesses,ch. 26; Highway 12 Corridor Study Area, § 78-1041 et seq. <br /> Sec. 78-791. Purpose. <br /> The purpose of the B-6 highway commercial district is to provide a commercial district specifically <br /> tailored to accomplish the commercial development objectives of the Highway 12 Corridor study section of the <br /> comprehensive plan. <br /> (Code 1984, § 10.45(1)) <br /> Sec. 78-792. Site plan review. <br /> All site reviews in any B-6 highway business district shall be reviewed as set forth in article II, division <br /> 4 of this chapter. <br /> (Code 1984, § 10.45(2); Ord. Permitted uses. <br /> Within any B-6 highway business district, no structure or land shall be used except for one of the <br /> following uses or uses deemed similar by the council: <br /> (1) Offices (business and professional). <br /> (2) Banks and financial institutions. <br /> (3) Libraries. <br /> (4) Motels, and hotels. <br /> (Code 1984, § 10.45(3); Ord. Relationship with planned unit developments. <br /> Other types of commercial uses and mixed use developments may be applied for through the planned <br /> unit development process.
