0 <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MONDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2002 <br />*10. #02 -2750 Edward and Michelle Winer, 2010 Shoreline Drive— Variance- <br />Resolution No. 4762 <br />Sansevere moved, and Flint seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 4762 granting <br />variances to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 1(B) and Section <br />10.56, Subdivision 16(C)(6) to allow encroachment of 10' into the average lakeshore <br />setback to permit an addition and deck to existing residence. <br />Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />*11. #01 -2751 Mark Welsh, 3625 North Shore Drive — Variances— Resolution <br />No. 4763 <br />Sansevere moved, and Flint seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 4763 granting <br />variances to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivisions 1 and 2, Section <br />10.55, Subdivision 8 and Section 10.56, Subdivisions 16(L) 1 and 2 to permit 615 s.f. <br />(16.4 %) hardcover in the 0 – 75' lakeshore setback where 660 s.f. (17.6 %) hardcover <br />exists and no hardcover is allowed, and to permit 884 s.f. (51.6 %) hardcover in the <br />75 – 250' setback where 932 s.f. (54.4 %) hardcover exists and 428 s.f. (25 %) <br />hardcover is allowed; Section 10.25, Subdivision 6(B) to permit new construction on <br />the lot with a defined lot area of 5,462 s.f. where 21, 780 s.f. is required and a lot <br />• width of 50' where 100' is required, and to permit a side yard setback of 5' for the <br />house where a 10' setback is required; and Section 10.61, Subdivision 5(A) to permit <br />one off - street parking space to be located 3' from the adjacent property line where <br />off - street parking in "R" districts is required to be set back 10'. <br />Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />*12. #02 -2754 Matthew and Kathy Dolliff, 2680 Pheasant Road— Variance- <br />Resolution No. 4764 <br />Sansevere moved, and Flint seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 4764 granting <br />variances to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 and Section 10.56, <br />Subdivision 16(L)(2) to permit 6,355 s.f. (34.19 %) hardcover in the 75 – 250' <br />lakeshore setback where 6,355 s.f. (34.19 %) hardcover exists and 4,646.75 s.f. (25 %) <br />is allowed to permit an addition and walk to the existing residence. <br />Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />13. #02 -2755 Long Lake Fire Station —City of Orono, 340 Willow Drive North — <br />Class III Subdivision, Variance and Conditional Use Permit <br />Gaffron stated that the lot available to the fire station is about 6 acres, and the fire station <br />was supposed to have about 3 acres available to it.
