ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MONDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2002 <br />• *15. Bid Award -2002 Materials and Equipment <br />Sansevere moved, and Flint seconded, to approve the year 2002 Materials and <br />Equipment Bids. <br />Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />*16. Request for Final Payment— Navarre Park Project <br />Sansevere moved, and Flint seconded, to approve Request for Final Payment, <br />Navarre Park Improvement Project to Koolmo Construction Inc. in the amount of <br />$5,522.97. <br />Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />17. Support of Mound Skate Park — Resolution No. 4765 <br />Sansevere stated he kept it off the consent agenda because he was uncomfortable with <br />asking the residents to make a financial contribution to the skate park. He suggested <br />changing the resolution by deleting the fourth WHEREAS statement, and ending the <br />resolution with Lake Minnetonka Area, deleting "and encourages the citizens of Orono to <br />support the development of this facility through financial and other contributions." <br />• Sansevere moved, and Flint seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 4765 in support of <br />the development of a skate park in the City of Mound with the noted changes, <br />deleting references to financial contributions. <br />Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />1� <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />*18. Accept Donations for Parks <br />Sansevere moved, and Flint seconded, to accept the donations from Margaret <br />Merkow ($10.00), Jay and Kendall Nygard ($50.00), and Bonestroo, Rosene, <br />Anderlik, and Associates, Engineers ($200.00) to the Park Fund, and to express the <br />City's appreciation and gratitude for the donations. <br />Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />*19. Pay Request and Change Order —Long Lake Fire Station <br />Sansevere moved, and Flint seconded, to approve the Change Order No. 1 in the <br />amount of $7,619.00, and to approve the Application and Certificate for Payment to <br />Ingram Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $225,500.00. <br />Vote: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />11 <br />
