Wetland 1 was not shown as a wetland on <br /> the NWI map, and is located within an area inapped as Cordova Loam (Predominantly Hydric) <br /> on the soil survey. No inlets or outlets were observed within Wetland l. <br /> Wetland 2 was a Type 1 (PEMA) forested seasonally flooded basin wetland dominated by a <br /> canopy of green ash trees, with a sparsely vegetated understary containing reed canary grass. At <br /> the time of the field visit Wetland 2 was saturated at the surface. <br /> Adjacent upland was dominated by a canopy of green ash trees, with an understory of common <br /> buckthorn, garlic inustard, wild geranium, and catnip. <br /> The delineated boundary followed a change in vegetation froin wetland to upland plant <br /> coinmunities, as well as a distinct change in topography. Wetland 2 was not shown as a wetland <br /> on the NWI map, and is located within an area mapped as Cordova Loam (Predo�ninantly <br /> Hydric) on the soil survey. Wetland 2 extended off-site to the east. <br /> Wetland 3 was a Type 1 (PEMA) forested seasonally flooded basin wetland dolninated by a <br /> canopy of cottonwood and elm trees, with a sparsely vegetated understary. At the tiine of the <br /> field visit Wetland 3 was saturated at the sui•face, witl� pockets of water 3" deep present in the <br /> central portion of the wetland. <br /> Adjacent upland was dominated by a canopy of cottonwood and green ash trees, with an <br /> understory of cominon buckthorn, garlic inustard, wild geranium, and catnip. <br /> The delineated boundary followed a change in vegetation from wetland to upland plant <br /> communities, as well as a slight change in topography. Wetland 3 was not shown as a wetland on <br /> the NWI map, and is located within an area mapped as Cordova Loa�n (Predominantly Hydric) <br /> on the soil survey. Wetland 3 extended off-site to the northeast. <br /> Wetland 4 was a Type 1 (PEMA) forested seasonally flooded basin wetland dominated by a <br /> canopy of geen ash trees, with an understory of redosier dogood, reed canary grass, Kentucky <br /> bluegass, and common buckthorn. At the time of the field visit Wetland 4 was saturated at the <br /> surface. <br /> Adjacent upland was dominated by a canopy of green ash trees, with an understory of common <br /> buckthorn, creeping charlie, and garlic inustard with a lesser amount of woodland strawberry, <br /> bedstraw, wintercress, and vetch. <br /> The delineated boundary followed a change in vegetation from wetland to upland plant <br /> communities, as well as a slight cllange in topography. Wetland 4 was not shown as a wetland on <br /> 4 <br />
