725 Dickev Lke L?riP
Oronc, AN 55356
Atust 16, ?OQ4
Citv of Orono: Care of Aatt Bolterrnan
?750 Kelley Prkway
Orono, MN 55356
To Whom It Mav Concer:
Subject: Retuest for Variance to UtilizP Cit}Seler Svstem at 701 Dicke}r Lake Drive
Ms. Mirni Ryerse of Edina Realty informs me that the expert they have contrcted (Rusty
Olsen) has indicated that the property located at 701 Dickey Lake Drive, based on state
and local regulations, is no longer able to utilize a private septic system. Therefore, I am
requesting a variance from the City of Orono to utilize the city sewer system recently
constructed along Willow Drive adjacent to that property.
Additionally, it is my understanding tha.t there is some probability that the City af Orono
will 'm future require that even those properties in the Ringerswood Development
currently utilizing privately owned septie systems change to the City system. That being
the case, it would seem not only redundant but also expensive to construct a private septic
system even assuming that were possible. In any case, utilizing the city system would be
preferable in the long term.
Any help you could provide to facilitate the process would be greatly appreciated sirtce
there aze several contingent buyers who are inter8sted in building as soon as possible.
Respec
- (
Patrick Puh
cc: Mimi Ryerse
