9 <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2001 <br />*14. #2657 Clifford Otten, 2350 Wayzata Boulevard— Easement Vacation — <br />Resolution No. 4608 <br />Flint moved, and Sansevere seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 4608 approving the <br />vacation of a dedicated drainage and utility easement within Lot 2, Block 1, East <br />Willow Woods. <br />Vote: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL REPORT <br />Mayor Peterson stated that the Fire Department Committee was close to determining the <br />appropriate size of the new Fire Department. The Long Lake Fire Chief will be at the <br />next Council meeting to present drawings. Moorse stated that the determined size <br />depends on an accurate cost estimate and expected funds from Mn/DOT. Flint stated that <br />the size and cost are related and he would not approve the fire station at an unreasonable <br />cost. <br />Nygard stated he was concerned about pedestrian crossings in Navarre along County <br />Roads 15 and 19 because of the parks and children running across the street outside of <br />• crosswalks. <br />Nygard stated he was concerned about snowmobile safety on the lake. He suggested the <br />Park Commission look at the issue. <br />PUBLIC SERVICE DIRECTOR'S REPORT <br />None. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />15.
