• <br />City of OR ONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 2509 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />PER MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.03, SUBDIVISION 19 <br />FILE #1305 <br />WHEREAS, Washington Scientific, Inc. (hereinafter "the <br />applicant") is the owner of the property located at 2605 West Wayzata <br />Boulevard located within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally <br />described as follows: <br />See Exhibit A, attached, (hereinafter "the property"; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City of Orono for a <br />Conditional Use Permit to permit the filling and grading of approximately <br />10,000 cubic yards of fill per Municipal Zoning Code Section 10,.03, <br />Subdivision 19. <br />• Minnesota: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1305. <br />2. The property is located in the Industrial Zoning District. <br />3. On October 3, 1988,.the Orono Planning Commission reviewed the <br />application as amended and recommended approval based on the following <br />findings: <br />a. The proposed filling and grading of the property will be in <br />accord with the intent of the zoning chapter and the purposes of <br />the district in which the site is located and the Comprehensive <br />Municipal Plan of the City. <br />b. The filling and grading of this property has been found to <br />be not detrimental to the public health, safety or welfare, or be <br />materially injurious to property or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. The proposed conditional use permit complies with each of <br />the applicable conditions of the zoning chapter, requiring no <br />variance to the required standards. <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
