A summary of the inspection <br /> is below. <br /> Se�tic Tank Condition <br /> 1. Pumpout needed within one month. (Last pump out 9/9/96) <br /> The septic system is a compliant septic system which means it meets all current City and State <br /> Standards. The drainfield is slightly saturated meaning there are "�vet spots" over the drainfield. No <br /> repair is needed regarding the system at this time. There are two possible reasons for the saturated <br /> drainfield. There may be leaky fixtures in the home or there may be more water being used than the <br /> system was designed for. Check all fixtures for leaking and try to reduce the amount of water being <br /> used on a daily basis. <br /> Enclosed is a list of state licensed septic contractors who work in Orono on a regular basis. Also <br /> enclosed is a fact sheet explaining how a septic system works and an as-built drawing that shows the <br /> approximate location of the septic system.
