• MINUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> Monday,May 16,2005 <br /> 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> (#05-3114 Sever and Sharon Peterson,Continued) <br /> Winkey reiterated the Planning Commission would like to see the hardcover reduced to 25 percent and <br /> suggested the application be tabled to allow the applicants time to review their options. Winkey noted if <br /> the hardcover is reduced to 25 percent,they would not have to reappear before the Planning Commission. <br /> Bremer moved,Winkey seconded,to recommend approval of the lot width and average lakeshore <br /> setback variances for the property located at 3145 North Shore Drive, and to recommend denial of <br /> the hardcover variance for the 75'-250'zone. VOTE: Ayes 6,Nays 0. <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br /> 10. REPORT OF PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING <br /> COUNCIL MEETINGS APRIL 25 AND MAY 9,2005 <br /> Jurgens reported on the April 25th Council meeting,noting that a number of items were put on the <br /> Consent Agenda. Jurgens stated a section of the retaining wall was allowed to remain on the Wambold <br /> application. <br /> Jurgens stated at the May 9th meeting the Council approved the Olson application for a garage and <br /> required on the Sallas application that 142 square feet of hardcover be removed. <br /> 11. OTHER ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION <br /> None <br /> 12. PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR APRIL 18,2005 <br /> Bremer moved,Rahn seconded,to approve the minutes of the April 18,2005 Planning Commission <br /> meeting as submitted.
