This is especialiy true in the <br /> winter time. Even human foot traffic can cause frost to penetrate the mound resulting in potential <br /> freezing problems. <br /> Do inspect your mound system annually for winter kill, (reseed if necessary) animal damage, <br /> (burrowingj or sigrs of potential failur2. , <br /> Do not plant trees or shrubs on the mound system, smalier trees and shrubs may be planted at the <br /> edges.
