Downey, an authorized representative of the <br /> Wayzata Country Club, (hereinafter "the applicant") has an interest in the <br /> property located at 200 West Wayzata Aoulevard within the City of Orono <br /> (hereinafter "City") and legally described in Exhibit A attached to this <br /> resolution (hereinafter "property"); and � - <br /> WHERBAS, the applicant has made application to the City of Orono <br /> for a conditional use permit per Section 10.20, Subdivision 3 (C) to allow <br /> the construction of an accessory structure to serve as a storage facility <br /> • for the Country Club and grants a building area variance per Section 10.03, <br /> Subdivision 9 (C) of 1,704 s.f. or 170� for the accessory structure/storage <br /> shed that will exceed the allowed building area of 1,000 s.f. <br /> ' � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R$SOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: � <br /> FINDINGS <br /> l. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1238. <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR-1C Single Family Rural <br /> ' Residential Zoning District. <br /> 3. The property is approximately 140+ acres in area. <br /> 4. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on January <br />' 27, 1988, and recommended approval of a conditional use permit per <br /> Section 10.20, Subdivision 3 (C) for an accessory structure and <br /> recommended approval of a building area variance per Section 10.03, <br /> . Subdivision 9 (C) based on the following findings: <br /> A) The proposed structure will be located 140+.' from all <br /> residential lot lines. The code requires only a 50' setback from <br /> � adjacent residential lot lines. <br /> . B) The structure is proposed at a maximum height of 14'.
