�, . <br /> � r <br /> b%f'� rC� C�t� o� ORONO <br /> � ;ry r <br /> L S�p'. <br /> • �"�40.*SY�d1����� . <br /> ,�,�. n>,�; RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �a ' 2350 <br /> pA,e ��.r. �j� NO. <br /> , <br /> �� � �:. <br /> ::�:;.:, <br /> A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABAT$LKENT <br /> OF HAZARDOUS BIIILDII�G ACTIOR AT <br /> 1950 SHOR$LIN$ DRIVE, ORONO <br /> CABIN 2 - WSST EDGE OF LOT <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized <br /> and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> WH$REAS, Gerald Toberman of Shelard Tower, Minneapolis, MN is the <br /> fee owner of record of the property located at 1950 Shoreline Drive, <br /> Orono, Minnesota, herein referred to as "the property", and legally <br /> described as follows: <br /> P.I.D. 10-117-23 42 0012 Lots 22 and 23 and that part of Lake <br /> Street lying between the extensions of the side lines of said <br /> lots and between the front line of said lots and Northwesterly <br /> line of the right-of-way of County Road No. 7 Lots 22 and 23, <br /> "Ora Park 'on Lake Minnetonka", Hennepin County, Minnesota, <br /> (hereinaf ter "the property"); and <br /> • WHSR$AS, the City Council of the City of Orono, having duly <br /> considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 463.15 to <br /> 463.261, hereby finds that the above described property is uninhabitable <br /> and contains unsanitary and hazardous conditions which constitute a public <br /> nuisance and which makes this property hazardous to the public health, <br /> safety and welfare based on the fol lowing findings: <br /> INTERIOR <br /> Basement <br /> 1. Foundation - Appears footing and foundation do not extend below <br /> frost line. UBC 2907(a). <br /> First Floor <br /> 2. Wal ls - No access inside building. . <br /> EXTI3RIOR <br /> 3. Exterior Wal ls - North wal 1 in contact with earth, no protection <br /> f rom rotting. UBC 2516(c)7. <br /> 4. Doors - Door on south side has no landing or stair. UBC 2516(c)1. <br /> 5. Chimney - Chimney is pulling away from structure. Flashing is <br /> • bad. UBC 3703. <br /> 6. Accessory Buildings - Deck and front entry stairway rotting and <br /> deteriorating, improper lumber used. <br /> - Page 1 of 3 <br />
