,�, � . . <br /> Ci.t� o� ORONO <br /> • " RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> � NO. 2324 <br /> � <br /> ' • - • • <br /> � RESOLDTION GRAA1TIIdG � <br /> A VARIANCE TO <br /> � MDIJICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.22, SQBDIVISaON 2 <br /> FII.E #1227 <br /> WHE1tSAS, Patrick Middleton (hereinafter "the applicant") is <br /> the owner of the property located at 720 Tonkawa Road within the City <br /> of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> That part of Lot 9 "Partens Point, First Division", Hennepin <br /> County, Minnesota, • lying northwesterly of the following <br /> described line and its extensions : Beginning at the <br /> midpoint of the southwesterly� line of said lot; thence <br /> northeasterly through the midpoint of a line drawn from a <br /> point on the northwesterly line of said lot distant 236.5 <br /> feet northeasterly from the most westerly corner of said <br /> lot, to a point on the southeasterly line of said lot <br /> distant 208 feet northeasterly from the most southerly <br /> • corner of said lot, to the northeasterly line of said lot, <br /> and there ending, (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a <br /> variance to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 to <br /> permit the construction of a detached garage and driveway resulting <br /> in hardcover in the 75-250' lakeshore zone in excess of the 25$ <br /> hardcover normally allowed. � <br /> NOW, THSR$FOR�, BE IT RSSOL�IED by the City Counci 1 of Orono, <br /> �Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1227. <br /> 2.� The property is located in the LR-1B Single Family Lakeshore <br /> Residential Zoning District. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on <br /> November 16 , 1987 and recommended approval of the proposed <br /> variance based upon the following findings: <br /> a) The property is steeply sloped from the road down to the <br /> lake.
