rJ <br /> ��� � .` <br /> j { " ` I <br /> ��� � .�t� � Cit� o� ORONO <br /> � z ���: <br /> • � <br /> �✓�l Ti "C��J'� <br /> ��;:° k� '�` �-.�� RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ?':r.�5 � NO. 2079 <br /> >�;��; ;,�� <br /> • - • .• <br /> ._� <br /> A RESOLDTION GRANTING <br /> A VARIANCE TO <br /> MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.24, SOBDIVISION 5 (B) <br /> FILE #1084 � <br /> WH$R$AS, Robert Maxfield (hereinafter "the applicant") is <br /> the owner of the property located at 4175 North Shore Drive <br /> within the City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally <br /> described as follows: � <br /> Lots 49 , • 50 , 51 , 52 and the east 1/2 of Lot 53 , <br /> Highwood Lake Minnetonka, Hennepin County; Minnesota <br /> (hereinafter "the property" ) ; and <br /> WHLRE�IS, the applicant has applied to the City for a <br /> variance to Municipal Zoning Code Sections 10.24, Subdivision 5 <br /> • (B) to permit the construction of a new single family residence <br /> on combined lots 49 and 50, comprising 0.46 acre where 1.0 acre <br /> in area is normally required, and a lot width of 100 feet where a <br /> width of 140 feet is normally required. <br /> NOW, THEREFOR$, B$ IT R$SOLV$D by the City Counci 1 of <br /> Orono, Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1084. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1B Single Family <br /> Lakeshore Residential Zoning District. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application <br /> on October 20 , 1986 , and recommended approval of the <br /> proposed variances based upon the following findings: <br /> - .a) The existing house proposed to remain on lots 51, 52 <br /> and 1/2 of 53 is located 33' from the east line af Lot <br /> 51, 35' from the west line of the east 1/2 of Lot 53, <br /> and 55' from the front lot line, meeting the required <br /> setbacks for the LR-1B zoning district. Proposed lot <br /> area for the existing house is 0.57 acre in this one- <br /> acre district, with a proposed lot width of 125' where <br /> . 140' width is required. The existing hardcover on <br /> these three parcels is within the allowable limits. <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
