MINUTES OF THE ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />HELD APRIL 19, 1993 <br />ZONING FILE #1818 - CONT. <br />Lund noted that since it was installed they have struggled with <br />ground cover in this area due to erosion. <br />Johnson felt that was not an issue as clay could be compacted and <br />the area sodded. <br />Lund said he would need to confer with the other half of the estate <br />before agreeing. <br />It was moved by Johnson, seconded by Cohen, to recommend approval <br />of Application #1818 for Russell Lund Estate, 905 Tonkawa Road, <br />approving a preliminary subdivision subject to conditions set forth <br />in the staff memo and the removal of the asphalt ramp to the lake <br />in the 0 -75' zone on Parcel B. Ayes 5, nays 0. <br />( #5) #1806 JON & SHIRLEY BILLIGMEIER, <br />2935 FARVIEW LANE - <br />• VARIANCES - CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARING 7:15 - 7:18 P.M. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Billigmeier were present for this application. <br />Mabusth explained at the last review of this request the applicant <br />was asked to confirm the alternate drainfield site and to have <br />surveyor locate the proposed court on the survey. The location of <br />the alternate septic site has been confirmed, and the applicant <br />has agreed that the tennis court be moved 5' further from the road, <br />maintaining a 17' setback. The structure is also located in front <br />of the principle structure <br />Bellows stated all other issues were addressed at the previous <br />review. <br />Mabusth added they have not rece i ved any negat i ve comments f rom the <br />neighbors. <br />It was moved by Bellows, seconded by Cohen, to recommend approval <br />of Application #1806 for Jon and shirley Billigmeier, 2935 Farview <br />Lane, approving a street setback variance of 33' and allowing the <br />accessory structure to be placed in front of the principle <br />structure, per conditions set forth in the memo and that there be <br />no outside lighting. Ayes 5, nays 0. <br />( #6) #1807 SUSAN MARIE SUMEY, <br />1330 CHERRY PLACE - <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT /VARIANCE - PUBLIC HEARING 7:18 - 7:24 P.M. <br />The Affidavit of Publication and Certificate of Mailing were noted. <br />4 <br />
