• <br /> MINUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> Monday, October 20, 2003 <br /> 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br /> (#13) REPORT OF PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVES <br /> ATTENDING COUNCIL MEETINGS OF SEPTEMBER 22, 2003 AND OCTOBER <br /> 13, 2003 <br /> Gaffron reported that during the September 22, 2003 City Council meeting two pertinent <br /> items were discussed. First, due to the hesitancy of any engineer to make an assertion <br /> about the lakeside deck and concrete retaining wall on the Maureen Murphy application, <br /> the Council moved to approve the deck to steer clear of any liability issues. Second, there <br /> was some discussion and resident concerns voiced with regard to the impending house <br /> move along Watertown Road to the Butterfield property. <br /> Mabusth stated that both Planning Commission items for October 13, 2003 were put on the <br /> consent agenda. <br /> (#14) OTHER ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION <br /> A Work Session will be held on Wednesday,November 5, 2003 from 5:30 -7:00 P.M. <br /> (#15) PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR SEPTEMBER <br /> 15, 2003 <br /> Hawn moved, Fritzler seconded, approving the Minutes of the September 15, 2003, <br /> Planning Commission Meeting as presented. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br /> (#16) SELECTION OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS <br /> ON OCTOBER 27,AND NOVEMBER 10, 2003. <br /> October 27—Fritzler November 10—Rahn <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Hawn moved, Mabusth seconded, to adjourn the Planning Commission meeting at <br /> 10:16 P.M.
