MINUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> Monday, November 18, 2002 <br /> 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> ROLL <br /> The Commission met on the above mentioned date with the following members present: <br /> Chair Sandra Smith, Commissioners David Rahn, Cynthia Bremer, J. Mark Fritzler, Liz <br /> Hawn, and Jeanne Mabusth. Representing staff were Planning Director Mike Gaffron and <br /> Zoning Administrator Wendy Bottenberg, Council Representative Jim Murphy, and <br /> Recorder Kristi Anderson. <br /> Commissioner Janice Berg was absent. <br /> Chair Smith called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA <br /> (#1) #02-2848 PETER AND AMY GOSHGARIAN, 100 ORONO ORCHARD <br /> ROAD,VARIANCE <br /> Hawn moved, Mabusth seconded, to recommend approval of Application #02-2848 <br /> Peter and Amy Goshgarian, approving a side yard setback variance to convert the <br /> attic space into living area of the existing residence located at 100 Orono Orchard <br /> Road on the condition that the project meets the 30' height requirement. VOTE: <br /> Ayes 6,Nays 0. <br /> (#2) #02-2849 STEVE JACOBSON, 4185 SIXTH AVENUE NORTH, VARIANCE <br /> Hawn moved,Mabusth seconded, to recommend approval of Application #02-2849 <br /> Steve Jacobson, 4185 Sixth Avenue North, approving a front yard setback variance <br /> to construct an attached garage/bedroom addition on the residence. VOTE: Ayes 6, <br /> Nays 0. <br /> (#3) #02-2851 KEVIN CURLEY AND WENDY KELLETT, 1291 BRIAR STREET, <br /> VARIANCE <br /> Hawn moved, Mabusth seconded, to recommend approval of Application #02-2851, <br /> Kevin Curley and Wendy Kellett, 1291 Briar Street, approving front yard and side <br /> yard setback variances to construct a 6' X 6' porch to the front of the existing <br /> residence.
