4 _ <br /> MINUTES OF THE <br /> ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> Tuesday,February 19,2002 <br /> 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> ROLL <br /> The Orono Planning Commission met on the above date with the following members present: <br /> Chair Elizabeth Hawn,Commissioners Jeanne Mabusth, Daniel Kluth, Sandy Smith, David Rahn, <br /> and Alternate J.Mark Fritzler. Commissioners William Stoddard and Janice Berg were absent. <br /> The following represented City Staff: Planning Director Michael Gaffron,Zoning Administrator <br /> Paul Weinberger,Zoning Administrator Wendy Bottenberg, and Recorder Lin Vee. <br /> Chair Hawn called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. <br /> CONSENT <br /> (#01) #02-2750 MICHELLE AND EDWARD WINER, 2010 SHORELINE DRIVE, <br /> VARIANCE <br /> Hawn inquired whether there were any public comments relating to this application. <br /> There were no public comments regarding this application. <br /> Smith inquired whether any of the neighbors have commented on this application. <br /> Weinberger stated Staff did receive one call from a neighbor who was not opposed to the project. <br /> Hawn moved, Smith seconded,to recommend approval of Application#02-2750,Michelle and <br /> Edward Winer, 2010 Shoreline Drive,granting of an average lakeshore setback variance to <br /> construct the addition and deck to the existing residence. VOTE: Ayes 6,Nays 0. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> (#02) #01-2731 NAVARRE AMOCO,3360 SHORELINE DRIVE, COMMERCIAL SITE <br /> PLAN REVIEW AND VARIANCES <br /> Kluth moved, Smith seconded,to table Application#01-2731,Navarre Amoco,3360 Shoreline <br /> Drive,to allow the Applicant time to submit the requested items. VOTE: Ayes 6,Nays 0. <br /> (#03) #01-2735 PROPOSED ZONING CODE AMENDMENT, SECTION 10.03, SUBD. 14, <br /> STRUCTURAL LOT COVERAGE ORDINANCE STANDARDS <br /> Bottenberg stated what is before the Planning Commission tonight is a proposed change to the <br /> zoning code dealing with structural lot coverage ordinance standards. Bottenberg noted the Planning <br /> Commission had discussed this item in a number of work sessions, and inquired whether there were any <br /> changes or concerns by the Planning Commission relating to this item. <br /> Kluth noted they were still working with the percentages. <br /> PAGE 1 <br />
