VOTE: Ayes 7,Nays 0. <br /> (#12) SELECTION OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS ON <br /> NOVEMBER 26,2001 AND DECEMBER 10,2001 <br /> November 26—Hawn December 10—Smith <br /> (#10) OTHER ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION <br /> Hawn, on behalf of the Planning Commission and the City of Orono, thanked Dale Lindquist for his <br /> many years of service on the Planning Commission. Hawn noted this is Lindquist's last meeting <br /> with the Planning Commission. <br /> (#9) REPORT OF PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING <br /> COUNCIL MEETINGS OCTOBER 22,2001 AND NOVEMBER 13,2001 <br /> Stoddard stated he attended the October 22 Council meeting,with the City Council discussing the <br /> Forest Lake Landing issue. The Council after some discussion voted to make this access a Class I, <br /> which allows pedestrian access to the lake and small boat launching. Stoddard noted the Council <br /> restricted swimming or fishing at this location. <br /> Gaffron stated the City wanted to avoid opening this lake access point up to something it had never <br /> been in the past, noting that the residents in this area may have been using an incorrect pathway to the <br /> PAGE 12 <br />
