MINUTES OF THE ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> Wednesday, January 17, 2001 <br /> CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> (#15) #2656 SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN, CITY OF ORONO, <br /> COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, 11:12 p.m.— 11:15 p.m. <br /> Kluth stated it is his understanding the surface water management plan needs to be submitted to the <br /> Metropolitan Council with the City's amended Comprehensive Plan. Kluth stated he would like to get <br /> the input from the other members of the Planning Commission prior to the submission. <br /> There were no public comments regarding this application. <br /> Gaffron stated this plan has been put together by the City Engineer's office. Gaffron stated the <br /> Planning Commission may want to look at the capital improvement plan and the dollar figures <br /> being proposed for the various items. Gaffron stated he would not have a problem if the Planning <br /> Commission wishes to table this item for a month. <br /> Kluth suggested that perhaps Gaffron contact the members prior to the next meeting to see whether <br /> they have any changes they would like to see or comments they would like to make regarding the plan. . <br /> Bellows moved, Kluth seconded,to table Application #2656, Surface Water Management Plan, <br /> City of Orono, Comprehensive Plan. VOTE: Ayes 4,Nays 0. <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br /> (#18) REPORT OF PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING <br /> COUNCIL MEETINGS NOVEMBER 27,2000 AND DECEMBER 11,2000 <br /> This item was not discussed due to the absence of the Planning Commission members who attended <br /> the Council meetings. <br /> (#19) OTHER ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION <br /> None <br /> (#20) PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR NOVEMBER 20, 2000 <br /> This item was tabled by the Planning Commission. <br /> (#21) SELECTION OF REPRESENTATIVES FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS ON <br /> JANUARY 22,2001 AND FEBRUARY 12,2001 <br /> Kluth suggested City Staff contact the members of the Planning Commission to see who would be <br /> able to attend the upcoming City Council meetings. <br /> PAGE 30 <br />
