ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES FOR APRIL 17, 2000 <br /> S <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br /> (#15) REPORT OF PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDING COUNCIL <br /> MEETINGS ON MARCH 27, 2000 AND APRIL 10, 2000 <br /> This item was not discussed. <br /> (#16) OTHER ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION <br /> Hawn stated any members of the Planning Commission that would be interested in attending <br /> the Sensible Land use Coalition seminar need to register with the City by April 24th. <br /> Lindquist reported on the joint meeting with the Long Lake Planning Commission, noting that the <br /> meeting went well. A second meeting has been scheduled for sometime in June to discuss how <br /> Orono foresees the corridor along Highway 12 being developed. <br /> Nygard stated both Planning Commissions are to create a list comparing the two cities for discussion <br /> at the next meeting. <br /> Gaffron indicated he will create a list for review and comment by the members of the Planning <br /> Commission. Gaffron stated the list is to help identify the areas where the two cities agree and <br /> disagree. <br /> • (#17) PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR MARCH 20, 2000 <br /> Lindquist moved, Nygard seconded,to approve the minutes of the Regular Planning <br /> Commission meeting of March 20, 2000, as submitted.
