Supreme Court Decision Regarding Variances  <br />  <br />City Attorney Soren Mattick reviewed the Supreme Court Case related to a variance request for a property  <br />located in Minnetonka.  Per Minnesota Statute, to establish the “undue hardship” required for a variance, a  <br />variance applicant must establish that the “property in question cannot be put to a reasonable use” without  <br />the variance.  The court decision may have an impact on how cities process variance applications.  <br />  <br />2. Processing Complex Zoning Applications – Start to Finish  <br />  <br />City Attorney Soren Mattick outlined issues for Staff, Planning Commission and Council to consider as they  <br />review complex zoning applications.  <br />  <br />3. Comments Regarding Information Updates   <br />  <br />There were no comments.  <br />  <br />4.
