 O
O 4
j CITY of ORONO
 ; A`
, Y .: " ti
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
LkESH4 N0. ? J
a. The property is a year-round residence that has no garage. It is a hardship
to not have a garage.
b. An attached garage would have to be located well forward of the other
houses on the block and thus be out of character with the surroundin area.
c. Because of the location of the house the setback variances are necessary to
provide vehicle access to the araae and allow drainage to flow between
the house and driveway. v
d. The applicant proposes to remove hardcover, including a shed and portion
of the house.
4. Tle City Council las considered this application includin the findings and
recommendation of the Planning Commission, reports by City staff, comments
by the applicants and the public, and the effect of the proposed variances on
the health, safety and welfare of the community.
5. The City Council finds that the conditions existing on this property are peculiar
to it and do not apply generally to other property in this zoning district; that
granting the variances would not adversely affect traffic conditions, light, air
nor pose a fire hazard or other daner to neighboring property; would not
merely serve as a convenience to the Owner but necessary to alleviate a
demonstrable hardship or difficulty; is necessary to preserve a substantial
property right of the Owner; and would be in keepin with the spirit and intent
1'-1.. 7!„z 'llC2C o .7 ' .-r. r h` c,y pir 1. (`'r1,
vi .tt cv,.in`' ., uI1.: `.vi„p '..
